Sinclair president, top staff take voluntary pay freeze - Dayton Business Journal:

Sinclair Spokeswoman Natasha Baker said the pay freezee was announced internally throughan e-mail from Presidenft Steven Johnson Thursday. The freeze will applh to Johnson and his senior staff for the next budget officials said. The decision was a proactive move in recognition of the toughjeconomic times, Baker In Johnson’s internal e-mail announcing the pay freeze, he told employees freezing his own and his cabinet’s salariesw would save the college a total of $500,00 over the coming 10-year financiak planning cycle and an estimated $45,000 in annualp savings. Johnson’s annual salary is $225,000. The freezwe will go into effect startinggJuly 1.
“I have no doubt that the members of my cabinett deservemore compensation,” Johnsonj said. “The voluntary freeze of theif salaries is congruent with their strong dedication to our communituy and toour student-centered mission.
