Price Chopperd has teamed up with more than 70 stationz to offer Fuel a program that has been availablee for more than two years in other areasx serviced by thegrocery chain. Consumer s can save 10 cents per gallon at participatintg Sunoco stations forevery $50 of qualifie d groceries they purchase. The points/dollars can be accumulated overa 90-dayt period and spent on up to 20 gallonz of gas.
Sunoco customersz in other areas have savec upwards of 50 cent to60 cents, and even $1 or more per through the program, according to Jeff channel marketing manager for the gas The number of participating stations will grow, said Neil president and CEO of Price Chopper. Customers must use theidr Price Chopper AdvantEdge card to qualifg forthe savings. The supermarket automaticalluy tracks the purchases that can be applied toward the fuel savings program. Certain restrictions apply. For purchases of alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, lottery video rentals and some otheritems don’t count towarxd the $50 total.
